The John Roach Scout Spirit Award is dedicated in Honor of John Roach who has been an active Scouter in the Swamp Fox District for many years. This award is given out at the end of each camporee to the Boy Scout Patrol who has shown the most scout spirit during the camporee. It was first given out at the 2000 Fall Camporee.
