The Swamp Fox District celebrated the 2001 Scout Anniversary Week by
participating in a district wide awards ceremony.
This ceremony was held at East McDowell Junior High on
Saturday, February 10, 2001. All ranks were awarded beginning
with Bobcat and ending with Eagle. All scouts that did not receive a rank were
recognized including Tiger Cubs. District awards were also awarded.
District Award Recipients:
Pack of the Year - Pack 806 Glenwood
Troop of the Year - Troop 807 West Marion
Scouter of the Year - Lynn Freeman
